Last Saturday I dropped off Saint Jacinta with Dee-dee Mihaliak at The Domestic Monastery in Avon , CT. The painting has been on loan for several years, so now that it's available again, I'm thrilled to offer it through this lovely Catholic gift shop and gallery.
So honored to once again be part of the Madison Art Society's Annual Juried Show. The quality of the entries always stuns me, and having my art hang on the wall with them always feels a little surreal.
Thank you to the Madison Art Society for awarding my painting of my daughter Madeleine in their annual juried art competition this summer. So many truly beautiful pieces of art were chosen for this show; I'm honored to be in their company.
One of the greatest honors of my career as an artist was to paint the incredible young hero, Kendrick Castillo, for the cover of the July/August issue of the Knights of Columbus' Columbia Magazine.
I was honored that my recent Sacred Art painting of Saint Jacinta, completed in honor of Jacinta's recent canonization and the 100th Anniversary of the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima, was chosen to be exhibited in the 2017 American Artists Professional League Grand National Exhibition judged by David Leffel.
Magnificat, a face study for an in-the-works Annunciation painting, was awarded Second Place in the Clinton Art Society's annual juried competition. Many thanks to the judge, Mark Patnode, for choosing this piece, and to the Clinton Art Society for the opportunity to exhibit.
Many thanks to juror, William Simpson, who chose this portrait of my daughter Ginny as the Best in Show at the Madison Art Society's Members Show.
